Houston and Doris Lust "Heart and Hand" Award
This award recognizes quilters who are using quilting to benefit their communities, whether making quilts for   those in need of a warm hug, teaching quilting to those who need to learn the skill, or meeting other quilt related community needs.  Nominations may be individuals or groups, but either the individual or someone in the group must be a member of Ogallala Quilter's Society.  The honoree or honorees will be recognized at the Awards Dinner during the 2023 festival and presented with a $100 check to be used as needed for their project.  Nominations are due by March 15, 2023.
Jean Giles Dean Scholarship
Jean Dean passed away in October 2016.  A scholarship fund has been set up in her name through Ogallala Quilter's Society. This scholarship will fund a novice participant to attend an Ogallala Quilt Festival regional class in Dimmitt, Texas.  The Board of Directors will select the lucky participant. 
Membership Form
Membership in Ogallala Quilter's Society runs from January to December each year.  Your membership allows free admission to our quilt festival, one free quilt entry, and newsletters keeping you up to date with Ogallala Happenings.  Thank you for your continued support of Ogallala Quilter's Society.

Junior Quilt Entry Rules and Form 2023
The Ogallala Quilter's Society has categories specifically for the new generation of quilters - those 18 years of age and younger.  By entering a quilt, juniors become OQS members for this year.  Junior Quilt Entry Rules and Form are available now.
Winter Experience 2024
Winter Experience is a time when our own quilting peers share some interesting and fun techniques they have learned and want to make available to others. If you would like to participate in any or all of the workshops, just make your selection on the Winter Experience registration form. There is no charge for participating in the classes!  Join us for a weekend of creative time and fellowship January  2024. Registration opens November 1, 2023, find necessary forms and information below!

Ceta Canyon Fall Retreat 2024
Registration forms and medical release forms are available now for OQS Fall Retreat 2023 at Ceta Canyon Retreat Center near Happy, Texas. Join us for a weekend of creative time and fellowship September 2024. Check back in the summer of 2024 for information and registration forms!  

Quilt Entry Categories and Definitions 2023
Quilt entry categories and definitions are updated for Ogallala Quilt Festival each year. Please look over the changes so that your quilt entries will be correct.  The categories and definitions are available now.
Legacy Quilts Entry Form 2023
For our 25th Anniversary Festival, we will have a special exhibit of Legacy Quilts. OQS members may exhibit quilts or quilt tops tops from their famly that are at least 25 years old. More information and entry forms are available now.
Amy Armenta Memorial Scholarship
Amy Armenta passed away  passed away July 2022.  A scholarship fund has been set up in her name through Ogallala Quilter's Society. This scholarship will be awarded to a quilter to take a regional class at the OQS Festival in Dimmitt, Texas. If you know of someone who needs help with the cost of a class, please fill out the nomination form. The Board of Directors will select the lucky participant. Nominations are due by March 15, 2023.
